WooHoo!

I think I may have mentioned before that I'm a little bit addicted to internet poker.

Well I just WON my first tournament!

That's me with the '1' next to my name (click to enlarge).

$270US for a $5.50US outlay, not a bad morning's work.

Am I excited? Much!

I even jumped out of bed and did a little poker dance when I won.*

For those who care, I won with an Ace high flush in hearts.

Watching: England v Sweden

*Yes, I play in bed... because... well, because I can.

Dare I ask- how long you played prior to the win - I mean all the times you had played, and in that time, how much was lost? ..

How pessimistic of you Wendy.

Are you implying that I have a gambling problem?

...I have been playing for a year or so, and I can assure you that I have received more cheques in the post than I have made deposits on my credit card.

I'm still a bit scared of the high stakes stuff, but I'm happy winning my $30 here and $50 there.

just asking.... gambling is actually a recreational activity - so, not a method of making money .. that is, you usually lose more than you make.
Not so sure about cards but that is certainly the way it goes with machines -
